Dental Exams

Regular dental exams help monitor any oral health changes and the effectiveness of your at-home hygiene habits. During a routine visit, you can expect our dentists to examine the oral structure of the hard and soft tissues. We also check for decay, gum disease, failing restorations, and perform an oral cancer screening.

Digital X-Rays

We use the latest digital x-ray technology for intra and extra-oral imaging to better understand your oral health. X-Rays help evaluate joint health and identify any signs of wear and tooth decay. It helps us to design the treatment plan that fits your specific needs and goals for your smile.

Using the latest digital technology, today’s dental x-rays expose patients to dramatically decreased radiation exposure.  We always strive to keep the number of x-rays taken to those necessary for proper diagnosis.  In addition to 2D radiographs we also use 3D cone beam technology for full mouth and jaw exams.  These expose patients to less radiation than the traditional full mouth films, still giving us a 360° view of the tooth, bone and TMJ.

Dental Cleaning

Dental checkups are an excellent way to keep your smile looking great as they allow for intervention if problems occur while they’re small. We recommend seeing most adult patients every six months to maintain optimum oral (gum and bone) health. However, we may recommend more frequent dental checks to ensure healthy teeth and gums.

Periodontal Treatments

Periodontal disease is an infection of the gums that can spread to the area beneath your teeth. It destroys the foundation of your oral health and is one of the leading causes of tooth loss. We offer non-surgical periodontal treatments for moderate cases of gum disease, including root planing, scaling procedures, and laser dentistry procedures. We can recommend a periodontist specializing in soft or hard tissue contours and grafting for more advanced treatment.
